I have no further goals
I don’t have the promise
of tomorrow
No guarantee
My only goal, as I see it,
is to walk with Jesus
every single day,
to experience that He’s real
in every occasion and decision
of my life
Then He’ll take care of everything
Every moment is the goal -
the goal to be like Him
to make my character
fit for Heaven
The Earth is not the real thing
Lest I be ensnared
It is not my goal or pursuit
Earth is the place for Test -
This Life is all a Test
and a Temporary Assignment
I must pass the Test
I must finish my Assignment
before I go Home
Gotta roll-off my sleeves
and co-labor with my Father
with the short time allotted me
Coz these are no days
to lie down in comfort
But to lay up treasures there
It is toil now
and reward hereafter
This life is a preparation to the
Next
Where the Real Thing
awaits me
and where the realization of my dreams
beckons me
